Welcome to my art portfolio!

About

I'm a retired art teacher dedicating my time to creating art full time. My personal art background consisted primarily of watercolors, gouache , pastels, colored pencils and charcoal painting. In the past few years I've changed my focus to digital artwork creating in Procreate on a 13" iPad pro with the Apple Pencil Pro.

My vibrant, colorful paintings have been exhibited in galleries across the world, and I also offer custom painting services to make your dream artwork come to life!

My style

My painting style is bold and vibrant, combining colors and shapes to create emotionally evocative pieces...

Bold colors and unique shapes

The subject of my artwork varies widely as I explore different approaches to painting utilising the digital tools available to paint in different mediums on the screen. Commissioned portraits of people and pets is one area that I focus on. Extending the portrait focus to wildlife and botanical subjects is another area that I enjoy. The main focus of my current work is creative compositions, an exploration of narrative artwork, life moments, landscapes, seascapes, nature in general and meaningful still life paintings. I create pieces in all these areas and I maintain a web stie for selling prints of my work at www.shadowmyst.art under the company name Shadowmyst Art.
